
I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, advised by Prof. Jibin Wu and Prof. Kay Chen Tan.
My research lies at the intersection of AI, audio signal processing, and hearing technologies. I am particularly interested in speech enhancement, target speaker extraction, auditory attention decoding, neuromorphic audio, and real-time edge deployment for assistive listening.
I am currently visiting the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit at the University of Cambridge, working closely with Dr. François Guérit and Dr. Lidea Shahidi on machine-learning approaches for cochlear-implant coding strategies, within Dr. Bob Carlyon’s research group.
Before joining PolyU, I worked on robust speech recognition at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and received my M.Sc. in Computer Science from Inner Mongolia University.
